• Enrolment automation SaaS platform Meritto received SEBI’s final observation letter for a public listing to raise up to ₹600 crore, featuring an offer-for-sale from investor Info Edge following a maiden profitable year in FY25.

Policy & Government

• The Union Education Minister mandated that all high schools will have broadband internet within two to three years and that AI literacy will be integrated into the national curriculum starting from Class 3.

• The Education Ministry definitively clarified that there is no proposal to restore the one-year B.Ed program, confirming that the current two-year curriculum will remain the standard for teacher training certification.
